AMELIA – America First conservative and outsider businessman David J. Taylor announced his campaign for the Republican nomination in Ohio’s 2nd Congressional District on Thursday.
Like President Donald J. Trump, David J. Taylor is a political outsider and a businessman who is running to fight for hardworking Ohio families, not the special interests or the Columbus or D.C. establishment. In Congress, he will build the wall, stop Joe Biden’s disastrous agenda and strive to carry on the legacy of effective, conservative leadership left by Congressman Brad Wenstrup.
In conjunction with his announcement, David announced an initial personal investment of $1,000,000 in the campaign and released his first campaign ad, “America First”, which will begin airing on district-wide television on Friday. Watch David’s first television ad HERE.

I’m blessed to run a successful concrete business my family built from scratch, supporting jobs for hardworking Ohioans for decades. Career politicians talk, but as a businessman I know how to get things done and support greater prosperity for Ohio small businesses, communities and families.”
